Sublabels
Using Sublabels for associating classes to a parent label
Sublabels are useful for having classes associated with higher level instances. Example: drawing rectangles around birds for object detection, but having a class for types of bird within the rectangle (Duck, Geese, etc...).
Sublabels are available for the Bounding Box (Rectangle) and Instance Segmentation (Polygon) label types
- 1.Navigate to the "Label Definitions" tab of your dataset.
- 2.Find the Bounding Box or Instance Segmentation label type you want to add a Sublabel to.
- 3.Click "Add Sublabel"
- 4.Type a sublabel name
- 5.Choose sublabel type (Text, Classification, or Multi Classification)
- 6.Fill out label options/classes
- 7.Click "Save"
